Surf and Stay - 13 Nights in Basic Room

Good Story Hotel is located in the south of the island, right on the beach in the village of «Weligama.» This is one of the best places in the world for learning to surf. Sandy bottom and not fast waves provide security for beginners. Its also popular  among longboarders for long right and lelt rides . In a 10-minute drive away there are good reef spots such as Mirissa, Matara, Cabalana, Plantation and Lazy Left. The variety of waves suitable for both beginners and advanced surfers.

You'll be staying in a comfortable room with a fan, located in the main building. Breakfast is included. Our hotel is located directly on the beach and has a pool, bar, restaurant & wifi.

Surf lessons:

7 surf lessons in a group of 3-6 people. Board rental is included in the price. Each surf lesson consists of a theoretical part, warm-up on the beach, and practice in the water. The course is divided into two parts: white water and line-up. You have the opportunity to practice on your own time as well, for the duration of the course, which will no doubt help you progress.

As the surf lessons are held in small groups, you will not only learn to surf with our professional instructors and quality equipment, but also gain some friends along the way.

The first few lessons will be aimed at building a strong theoretical base and practicing in the white water. Then, you go out on the line-up at Weligama Beach, our home spot. 2 lessons are surf trips to nearby soft reef spots.

Good Story Surf will give you the necessary fundamentals, and help you learn the right technique, in order for you to be able to progress further on your own!
