Discover Chamonix On Your Splitboard For 2 Days. Qualified Mountain Guide
This is a Splitboard course designed for all levels, a two day program that covers three main snowboarding goals; Belvedère col, Autannes col, Glière col, all accessible from Chamonix, France.
Chamonix is a town located in the French Alps, its famous for its towering peaks and based under the tallest mountain in Europe, Mont Blanc (4,808m). It is one of the oldest ski towns in the world with tourism dating back to 1821 when the first guiding association was established. Since then the town has become a mecca for backcountry enthusiasts and mountaineers, Making Chamonix a centre for progressive mountain culture in Europe.
This session is all about enjoying your time in the mountains with your split board, on our Discovery trip we will take you to three different locations by skinning access. The runs are designed with all riders in mind, so the terrain can be mellow or more progressive depending on the rider.
This course is for all levels of rider to join, you will be taken into the mountains by a qualified UIAMG Mountain Guide who’s years of specialist training will be hard at work to keep you safe and having an amazing experience at the same time. Safety equipment (transceiver, shovel & probe) are not included but can be organised for you if needed.
On this course you will gain experience in true alpine back country, it is for the rider wanting to improve their Splitboarding, while being surrounded by some of the most spectacular mountains in Europe. Small groups of 4-6 people make it the perfect balance between safety and company.
