Freeride Session Tour (3 days) in Chamonix
Being based under Mont Blanc of the French, Italian border, this lesson offers you the best of both worlds, and a chance to explore the mountains of both countries over a period of 3 days on your Snowboard.
Chamonix is a town located in the French Alps, its famous for its towering peaks and based under the tallest mountain in Europe, Mont Blanc (4,808m). It is one of the oldest ski towns in the world with tourism dating back to 1821 when the first guiding association was established. Since then the town has become a mecca for backcountry enthusiasts and mountaineers, Making Chamonix a centre for progressive mountain culture in Europe.
The area of Brévent/Flégère, Tour/Balme, Grands Montets, Megève, Courmayeur is what we will cover in the 3 days. These are some of the most exceptionally beautiful areas of the alps and offer incredible back country potential. Be sure to take in the culture from the French and Italian alps whilst on this amazing tour.
With the selection of terrain in the area, Chamonix Snowboard School is confident that it can find snowboarding for all levels of riding. Our guides are some of the most experienced in the whole valley and all holding the UIAMG Mountain Guiding qualification, making it not just an enjoyable experience but professional and safe. Safety equipment (transceiver, shovel & probe) are not included but can be organised for you if needed.
If you want to see all aspects of Mont Blanc then this is the snowboard experience of a life time for you. Focussing on some of the most incredible backcountry snowboard terrain the alps have to offer. You will be with 4 people minimum and 6 People maximum per guide.
